Arts Market Update:

I will be at the Arts Market (corner 5th and Main, in the parking lot adjacent to the Farmer's Market in downtown Baton Rouge, LA) from 8:00 am until noon tomorrow (Saturday the 13th) with handspun yarns and spinning demonstration.

New yarn: a wool/hemp worsted in natural, and also dyed in shades of onion-skin yellow, denim blue, and black. This is a fantastic yarn for bags, totes, etc.

I will be back at the Knitting Asylum shop by 2:00pm (perhaps a bit earlier if the Traffic Goddess smiles upon me).

And, when I return here, there will be an update on life in general, and snow in particular.

Tell us more about the shop! TELL US MORE ABOUT THE SHOP! Those of us living far away on little damp green islands off the western coast of Europe, who can't get to Louisiana right now. We want details. We want PICTURES. We want the FULL STORY.

Oh - and Midwinter greetings and blessings of the Solstice to you and yours and the Asylum.

I just finished reading CM's latest blog and decided to visit Mambocat and who do I find over here - CM! I must agree - very anxious to know more about your shop and this from someone living in the middle of the greenish (thanks to the rain goddess)-brown desert in the western US, who can't get to LA right now.

I'm terribly sorry to hear of your husband's health concerns. My prayers are with you both.
